Welcome to the Official Site of The Bobby Beynon Memorial Golf Tournament in Tempe, Arizona. Since 1987, we’ve had a little ASU Alumni gathering. Golf on Friday and tailgate for the ASU game on Saturday. Keg near the stadium, of course, until we could afford to pay retail for beers at Banders and McDuffy’s. In 1992, we named the golf tourney after our friend Bobby. For most of us it becomes an annual reunion of friends and family. We talk about it all year long and it keeps our friend with us. The message we try to instill is to enjoy your life every day. We have a great time paying tribute to Bobby and end up assisting fellow Sun Devils aspire to become as smart as we are. The 2008 Bobby Beynon Memorial Golf Tournament will be held in October 24, 2008. We look forward to seeing you there. NEWS

In Memoriam - Ron Biega

ASU graduate, from Pittsburgh and avid Sport fan, past away on Saturday April 19, 2008. Know as one of the “Killer B’s” back from playing softball after ASU. We will miss the kind hearted, gentle giant that always tried to take care of the friends around him. Ron's humor will be missed by his family, friends, and the Beynon Alumni...including his good friend John Popescu (center)...John said, "While playing in the golf tournament each year, Ron would always say 'put me down for a 2', after each hole." There will be a Memorial for Ron on Thursday night, April 24th, from 5-8pm at: Hanson Funeral Home 6500 E. Bell Road Scottsdale, Arizona MAP
